Bethel Baptist Church was founded in 1895. It is a member of the Old Baptist Union, a group of wholly evangelical baptist churches founded in 1880. It is the policy of the church to co-operate wherever possible with other Christians in Macclesfield in the advancement of Christ’s kingdom.
