I became a Christian when I was 15 after a friend invited me to a Christian camp in Sussex. I went because I really wanted to meet boys (I went to an all-girls school!) and I had a wonderful time, but I met someone I was not expecting.

I was impressed by the people I got to know because they had something different: they had a personal relationship with Jesus, who up 'til then I thought was just someone from history in RE lessons. He changed my life for the better and I joined a church in south London (where I come from) with a great youth group and bible studies and got baptised.

I am privileged to share my faith and my life with my lovely husband Roland. We have enjoyed taking part and being members of Bethel since December 1979 and I have been Church Secretary since 2010.
