We keep this deliberately simple: this website does not carry advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers. There is no Facebook Pixel and no advertising network on this site. We do use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand overall visitor numbers, described below, alongside the small handful of other things that are stored in your browser, or loaded from elsewhere, when you visit.
Your preferences (stored on your device only)
If you use the dark/light mode switch or the text-size (A− / A+) buttons in the top bar, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it's remembered next time you visit this site. This stays on your device — it is never sent to us or anyone else. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and which pages are popular, so we can improve it. Unlike most analytics tools, it does not use cookies or any other tracking technology, and does not identify you personally or follow you across other websites — it simply counts anonymous page views. Because it doesn't use cookies, there's nothing here for you to accept or decline. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for more detail.
Google Fonts
The text on this site is displayed using a font (Epilogue) served by Google Fonts. Loading it means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which will see your IP address as part of that request, in the same way any website request works. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Maps and Google Calendar
Our Contact Us, Plan a Visit, Calendar and What's On pages embed a Google Map and/or our Google Calendar directly from Google. When one of these loads, Google may set its own cookies, governed by Google's Cookie Policy, not by us.
If you make a donation
Donating takes you to Stripe's own secure payment page to complete your gift. Stripe may set its own cookies at that point, under Stripe's Cookie Policy. We don't set any cookies of our own during this process.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you see, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Since we don't use tracking cookies, blocking cookies from this site should not affect how it works for you — though it may stop your dark-mode/text-size preference being remembered, and may prevent embedded Google Maps or Calendar content from loading.
